Camassia

Every year around this time we head out to Camassia Natural Area, a small preserve owned by the Nature Conservancy.  It is full of camas flowers, and when they  are in bloom during the spring, the place is just amazing. There is a loop path that is easy and short enough that even Phoebe can do it by herself.
We headed out Tuesday afternoon, with sunny skies and weather so warm I almost forgot it wasn't summer. The kids had a blast, and ran almost the whole way. And I won't complain about the view of Mt. Hood either....

 Where have you been lately?
