When choosing a new shower curtain and liner, it is best to choose a fabric curtain made out of cotton or nylon. Your typical vinyl shower liners are extremely prone to mold and mildew and need to be replaced every year or so. A fabric liner, however, can be thrown in the washing machine and can be used for a long time.
