Yarn Along and A Modeled Tunic

Joining with Ginny of Small Things for this week's yarn along.

Last week, I showed you all a photo of the plain tunic that I finished for Phoebe. A few days ago, I had the chance to put it on her and grab a few pictures, and,well..... apparently, when knitting up this cute little tunic, I temporarily forgot how large my children's heads are and casted off too tightly. And so, when I went to put the tunic on Phoebe, it wouldn't go on. However, I was determined, and after a few minutes of wrangling with her head, I finally did get it to fit. Phew! Then I went through the entire day wondering if it would come off, or if I would have to cut it off of her, but for some reason, the off direction is easier. I have gotten it on and off once since, so although it is a tight squeeze, I think we are good.

This week I have just been knitting up several children' cowls and arm warmers for the craft fair I am doing next week. I figure if they don't sell, they will be good for gifts, or to donate.

And what am I reading? I have decided that I am just not going to talk about what I am (still) reading until I am done. Hehe. Then when I talk about a new book, you will all be pleasantly surprised.
