Happy Earth Day!

Today is the 41st Earth Day. We have come a long way in these 41 years; figuring out ways to reduce pollution, save energy, and use our resources more wisely. However, we still have a long way to go. Global warming is looming over our heads, our oil supplies are running low, and habitat and species are being destroyed at alarming rates.
Today, on Earth Day, take a moment to think about our Earth and everything she provides for you. What can you do today to lessen your impact on this planet? Walk instead of drive? Support your local businesses and farmers? Start a garden? Take your children for a walk in nature?

  1. Today we are going to pick up our new fertilizer making machines.....the baby bunnies! 3 bunnies, one for each kid. They'll be in charge of their care and all the bunny droppings will be placed in our garden for fertilizer. They'll also eat the vegie scraps their fertilizer helps grow. Should be a good Earth Day activity. We're excited.

  2. Oh! How fun! I really wanted to get bunnies also, but our next door neighbor is deathly allergic. Maybe when we one day move to the big plot of land that we dream of......
